Transportation arrangements

We are the only funeral home in California to offer families an alternative to the traditional hearse:

A 19th century-style hearse drawn by a V-twin-powered 3-wheel Harley Davidson motorcycle.

American River Cremation & Funeral Service helps families create a unique remembrance for the motorcycle enthusiast or any loved one who would have appreciated the nostalgia of a horse drawn carriage.

The “Farewell Ride Motorcycle Hearse” is available for services with any of our

sister funeral homes or any funeral home of your choice in Northern California.

Forwarding Remains To Another Funeral Home

Includes: Basic services of the funeral director and staff. A proportionate share of overhead costs; one staff person, van transportation from Sacramento International Airport, Unscheduled van delivery to local cemetery within 35 miles of our facility.

Additional charges will apply for the following:

Hearse, Church Service, Graveside Service

Additional charges will apply for the following:

Airfare, Consulate fees or Paperwork.

Human Remains may be shipped un-embalmed on some carriers

for religious reasons using Dry Ice or Gel-Packs. Please ask for details.

Includes: Basic services of the funeral director and staff. A proportionate share of overhead costs; one staff person local removal of remains (additional staff required for home removals): Embalming, van transportation to Sacramento International Airport, combination shipping unit (per airline requirement).
